Our History
MCR.Market was founded in 2025 by experienced healthcare capital equipment professionals who recognized the need for a more effective way to help healthcare organizations manage equipment costs, utilization, and investment recovery. Drawing on decades of industry experience, the founding team set out to build a model that would give hospitals and other healthcare facilities better access to equipment opportunities, stronger resale options, and practical support throughout the capital-equipment lifecycle.
The team spent more than a year developing the MCR.Market technology platform, consultant training program, and supporting infrastructure needed to create a trusted network of healthcare facilities, equipment brokers, resellers, financing resources, and service providers.
As the concept evolved, one principle became increasingly important: healthcare organizations should not have to rely on searching another online marketplace to find the right solution. Instead, MCR.Market was designed around the relationship between the healthcare facility and its dedicated MCR Consultant.
Today, the private MCR Marketplace works primarily behind the scenes as a sourcing and investment-recovery engine. MCR Consultants bring those resources directly to the healthcare organizations they serve—helping clients locate cost-effective equipment, identify buyers for unused and underutilized assets, evaluate acquisition alternatives, and connect with additional financing and equipment-support resources.
The model continues to expand through the developing MCR Financial Network and MCR Purchasing Network, giving consultants additional tools to support financing, equipment care, maintenance, service, repair, transportation, and other needs associated with healthcare capital equipment.
The result is more than a marketplace. It is a consultant-driven capital equipment resource built by healthcare professionals for healthcare professionals—designed to help facilities reduce unnecessary spending, recover greater value from existing assets, improve equipment utilization, expand purchasing options, and make smarter decisions throughout the equipment lifecycle.
